What bit to you eat? The black and white bit, or all of it - i have NEVER seen one of those before. I have lived a sheltered life...

You eat the inside stuff, with a spoon. It's a bit like a melon but softer. I read you can eat the skin but considering its sold loose in the supermarket I don't much fancy that! It'd be hard to wash it properly as its got lots of curly bits on it. I should have taken another pic of the outside before I cut it, I think they're beautiful! It's a lovely red-pink colour.

Oh and also, I have never seen them before either! And it's only this one Tesco that I have spotted them. They're quite expensive, about £1.70 I think, but its nice to try different things occasionally! It's not something I'd buy every day though.

I dunno, i'm not sold on how edible it looks. Its very pretty, but the goop inside looks weird... kinda like oreo cookie bits in ice-cream, so i'd expect it to taste like that :p

    Inbaal say's hello, btw ;)
